Act a sherm

When a person is completely and utterly socially awkward. For example, they seem to say nothing when something should be said and as a result can come off creepy. Or, they say the completely wrong thing. This person will often act like they absolutely hate what they are doing and cannot wait until it's over.

For example, if a rookie messes up on something they've never done before and the response by one to act a sherm is "that was terrible."

Girl: hi!
Guy 1: ...(stares)
Guy2: don't act a sherm, bro. Say something.

Can also be used: actin a sherm.

John: did you see that new IT guy?
Gregg: yea. He was all actin a sherm, bro.

When you’re trying to discuss something and the person loosing the argument insults you personally, with weak points, opinions or lies.

I told Jason I thought Hannah was ugly and he started acting bucket about it

Acting Federal

When someone is asking toooo many questions.

Them: How much money you got? Where you going? Where are you taking us? You got a lighter on you?

Me: Aye cuz get the fucc on u Acting Federal rn like deadass!!

When you do something you find cool but no one else thinks its cool

"Did you see Maya Schweitzer post herself drinking alcohol?"

Method Acting

When an actor or actress decides to commit fully to their role by becoming the character on and off set.

(This can either lead to great success like in the case of Christian Bale in American Psycho or in annoying or dragging down everyone on a movie set like in the case of every Jared Leto role.)

Jared Leto decided method acting was the best way to play the role of Michael Morbius by using crutches he didn’t need and refusing to use the bathroom without help from people who came to film a movie, and now had to help a D-List actor wipe his own ass.
