Anyone who says west virginia is boring is completely fucking inaccurate. Get your heads out of your fucking asses and go camping. We dont believe in incest and quite frankly every state has incestous people. Mary Lou Retton was one of the best gymnasts ever and well she was from west by god virginia. Homer Hickam who is one of the most important rocket scientists is from west by god virginia. We do have what you people call rednecks but we just call eachother friends. 90% of west virginia doesnt lock its doors because we have no reason. More people in west virginia owns guns then other places but less people get shot.
A place where you can go to church in blue jeans and a t shirt and still be seen as a god loving person.
A place where people are proud to be themselves because we are who we are.
A place that if you start a fight you will lose. We stand up for wat we believe in.
West Virginia is the best damn place in the world.

the Los Angeles of the east coast
had a horrible gang problem in parts of the city back in the 80s and 90s but got better.
East side of the city (the beach) has clubs, huge concert venues, bars, dozens of hotels, LOTS of prostitutes.. the place to be on weekends.
West side of the city borders Norfolk and is controlled by black/mexican gangs and typically not where you want to be.
Lets head out to downtown VA Beach and get hammered

A state that is -not- part of Virginia. It is commonly mistaken for "western-Virginia". This mistake is most commonly made by non-Americans who think they are amazing at Geography.
West Virginian: "I'm from West Virginia."
Englishman: "Oh! I know people from Richmond!"
West Virginian: "Yeah! And I know someone from Glasgow!"

A detestable suburban backwater of America's lame, bland and culturally vacant capital. Filled with characterless subdivisions populated with characterless people and the poor immigrants that serve them, this place is so utterly conventional and uninteresting that it actually makes Westchester, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey look like they aren't cultural wastelands. NoVA doesn't suck simply because it lacks museums and "culture"--this is to be expected of any suburb. It sucks because the city it borders sucks. That city sucks because it is the center of government, and to be successful in government, one must be as uncontroversial (hence, boring, conventional) as possible. Any individual considering giving birth and raising children should realize that forcing them to grow up in NoVA will stunt them intellectually, emotionally, and aspirationally, for the rest of their lives.
Kid: "Why am I so bored that all I do all day is (smoke pot/drink/smoke cigarettes) and/or try to act like a (redneck or rap star)?

A beautiful state that is over-stereotyped
It’s a beautiful state that has a lot of attractions such as Black Water Falls, Seneca Rocks, Canaan Valley and many others. Their is a lot of stereotypes about West Virginia. Some examples are that we don’t wear shoes, we fuck our cousins, and we’re all very trashy. The truth is that most of these are not true. We have a few rednecks here, but there stereotypes are not always true. It’s just like any other state with cheesy suburban families and few trailer parks here and there. It’s low crime but there are lot of meth and crack heads everywhere. A LOT OF DRUGS!!!
