A diversity hire but for the cinema. When a minority actor/ actress is given a role not because of their acting ability, but by the color of their skin. Done to come across as less racist, but ends up coming across more racist by implying that said actor/ actress would be unable to secure this role off their own merit.

The act of using a prevailing breeze, fan or air conditioner outlet to have your fart stench reach victims downstream. Highly effective for distribution of farts indoors or out.

There was a breeze going down the hallway so I fart cast into it to nail everyone in the lounge.

Cater Casting

Cater Casting occurs when a film is cast with too many recognizable stars - say as with Ocean's 11, 12, and now 13.

Look at any billboard for Ocean's 13. Who do you see? The stars, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Al Pacino, Don Cheadle, Berney Mac? Nah. With so many stars in the film, each individual's "star power" is diminished and you start to see what looks like the catering crew at any 4-5 star Hotel in Los Angeles.

The film, Ocean's 13, is an example of Cater Casting.

Alternate term for a fantasy cast. Just as a "dream team" is a list of ultimate players for a sport, a dream cast is one person's list of the best players for a book adaptation or movie.

In my dream cast for "The Black Echo" by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch would be played by Kevin Spacey, and Eleanor Wish would be played by Emily Deschanel.
