A trendy boy, not to be confused with a pretty boy / metro-sexual, is a guy (or young male rather) who is well into modern fashion, looks or style. A trendy boy follows the previous (though still in style) /latest trends and fads of the moment.
Contrary to popular belief, pretty boys do not spend most of their time on their appearance, simply because their appearance is an attribute. Men with soft features, like oval faces, long / curly eyelashes, refined hair (e.g. curls, waves), captivating eyes, radiant skin, etc are generally considered pretty boys. Therefore, men who are over-concerned with their appearance and strive to make themselves appear "pretty" are labeled a metro-sexual and / or narcissist.
However, none of the aforementioned has to do with trendy boys. Examples of trendy boys are boys wearing the latest Jordan (or whomever) shoe; designer label brand shoes, braids (or dreads) / haircuts with designs / lines in them, latest electronics (e.g. cellphones, iPod, etc.), latest clothes and accessories (e.g. clear lenses, "Dookie" Rope chains; gaudy jewelery, Urban Outfitters / Forever 21 / Hot Topic / American Eagle Outfitters, etc. apparel), latest styles (like the "marching band / military" jacket look) ... You get the picture.

High school girls, sorostitutes, and ladies in Alabama can often be spotted wearing the trendy trifecta, despite the coolness factor of each waning years ago.
Nassr just spotted spotted a skank in the grocery store wearing the trendy trifecta -- plus a peruvian ski hat! She obviously needs some validation ... and I know who's going to come through for her.

A descriptive term used for tweens in any vintage or trendy clothing that has offensively bright colors. Basically if the 80s barfed on a scenester.

a homosexual (or metrosexual, same thing, duh), most often a waiter or retail worker with low self-esteem, who delights in wearing the most cutting edge of hairstyles and or fashions. experts believe the wearing of such garbage is in the mind of the trendy tranny what makes them "fierce!"

People who say they are Green Day's greatest fans but have only ever heard their 'American Idiot' album. They dye their hair black and wear eyeliner like the lead singer. And then they buy converses and class themselves as 'punks'. They really and truly suck and have to get a life.
Green Day Trendy 1: "Look at me, I'm wearing eyeliner!!!!!!!!!1"

The stereotypical Trendy cafe man will often be seen at cafes sitting outdoors in full sunlight. His atire includes a tight shortsleeve black shirt, Long black jeans and usually metal frame sunglasses. The trendy cafe man is always bald and often works out at the gym.
1.Out of the car window I spotted a trendy cafe man, sipping latte and laughing.
2.Today there were two trendy cafe men at the coffee shop, this made for an awkward moment between them.
