Yeet

Yeet (or Jeet) means, "Did you eat?" It's a common conjunction used in southern states.

AUNTIE: (right after you get to her house): "Yeet?"
NEPHEW (who auntie always wants to feed): "Yeah, I stopped at McDonalds.
AUNTIE: "Then, sit down and eat something healthy."

(I don't know the accent as well as hubby, so I couldn't carry it through the question and answers.
There is no other origin for Yeet (or Jeet.)
