To fondle the flagpole. To answer nature's booty call. To fiddle the flute. To go the extra mile for yourself. To shine the doorknob. To shake the snake awake.
"Where is Joe? I haven't seen him in a while.
"He is in his room. I have told him repeatedly not to jing the thing so much."
A speech expression used commonly when someone is unable to remember the thing that they were supposed to do,
or when someone else forgot and you are using the phrase sarcastically.
Person 1: what were we supposed to do again?
Person 2: you just gotta like, do the thing; you know?
Somethign your friend says when you quote one of their inside jokes, phrases or texting habits that was actually yours to begin with.
"Yooooo"
"Ugh, that's MY thing"

This expression is used when a person does or tells you something you already know and thinks it is absolutely amazing.
Person 1: She got a hollywood wax for the first time.
Person 2: let me guess its the most exciting thing since sliced bread for her.
