A term highly used in the late 1980s and early 1990s during the crack-boom to describe an individual selling or in possession of crack rocks. Remnants of its lingo are still evident in hip-hop lyrics, etc.
"Yo. Hello. I be dat 'nigga'. 'Dey call me 'da Rock Slinga, cuz' I sell dat crack to all da bling-blingas."

This term has been especially common in New Orleans, Louisiana.
A synonym is "crack ride" or rent-a-rock.

2005 TCPalm.com (Stuart, Florida) (Sept. 28) “Police recover car allegedly used in drive-by shooting” (in Fort Pierce): Police also arrested Richard LaWayne Simmons, 18, of the 1200 block of McCray Court in Fort Pierce for allegedly stealing the car through a practice known as a “rock rental.” According to a police report, Simmons arranged to “borrow” the dark blue 1998 Acura for an hour Thursday night in exchange for crack-cocaine.

An offshoot of '80s hair metal which was known for containing cheesy, dirty lyrics. Usually the lyrics were about things like how big your dick is or cumming all over the place. Not really worth listening to if you actually like good music. It sold because girls bought into it, but then it faded because of the rise of grunge.
The only hair band worth listening to is Dokken, because at least they're not a bunch of cock rockers who only talk about the size of their schlongs and how many girls they've fucked.
A prime example of cock rock is Poison. Just look at them. Their pants are uber-tight, because they like to show off the size of their packages.
