It's like you become crazy about something/someone/an activity that you becoming sick ot that. You just love doing that so much that you become sick.
You can use it like these three exemple: sick of/sick about/sick for it
Also, I can add that sometime, the person you have to use your fucking sense of logic and use the context of the sentese to see if he really hates it.
