1.Someone who has the right idea, someone who is real punk but has this need to pick on others such as "pop-punkers"
2.People who listen to hard core punk but are always ready to argue with someone else that might not be as "hard core punk" as them.

Try hard punk: Yes, I like this band, that band and another band, but I HATE YOU BECAUSE YOU LISTEN THAT BAND!
Some other guy, anything except "Try hard punk": Okay. You gonna shut up now, or do I have to ram my signed Good Charlotte t-shirt down your throat?

left coast punk

a term used by punk rockers MXPX to describe a certain tipe of punk rock.
it has to be fromt he west coast which is why it is called left coast
it is loud hard fast punk that has ties to skater punk, a little surfer music, ska, and streetpunk

did you see he MXPX sweatshirt it said left coast punk

punk rock reject

a person who's stereotypically punk, i.e. has a 'punk lifestyle', is into piercings, short and/or spiked hair & unnaturally coloured hair, does whatever they want, believes firmly in either anarchy or freedom without war, goes to punk rock concerts, etc. but isn't isn't stereotyped as a "punk rocker", i.e. is frequently mistaken and/or misjudged & mistreated, and is generally an outcast. While all punks are typically outcasts, a punk rock reject ususally possesses the stereotypical qualities of being a skater or emo, and in very, VERY rare occasions, prep & goth. All in all, a punk rock reject is NOT a prep OR goth, but a punk.

emo: you think you're a punk rocker just because you're in a punk rock band?
punk rock reject: what the hell does it matter to you?
emo: what a loser.
punk rock reject: atleast i can actually play the guitar instead of crying over it and i can actually write lyrics that mean something instead of crying over my ex-girlfriend.

punk rocker: WTF? I thought you were a punk.

punk show

A concert where a whole bunch of punk teens go and mosh to hardcore screaming singers and insane guitar riffs. The punks will usually dress up in hardcore punk clothing to fit in as much as possible. Includes moshpits, and lots of headbanging.

Pre-AP Punk

Term i coined to describe the large influx of "Non preppy/nerdy" kids taking advanced classes at my school. We dress like "Punks", "Goths", "Metalheads", or whatever you want to call us, but we're smart. Some of us succeed in advanced classes and some of us fail, but we're at least pushing ourselves, and not skating by on the bullshit curriculum the school system presents.

I fit the example of a Pre-AP punk. I walked into my Pre-AP English 2 class and my teacher literally thought i walked in the wrong classroom.

Savin Hill Punk

a broad range of music from boston's general dorchester neighborhood. anything from dropkick murphys rappers like Krayon , black metal artists like Tør Terpenes , and Trip hop artists like DiESEL ,and Trap Metal performers like .Țepeș
It is wide range of genres and styles is growing as the Boston music scene gains prominence.
