An item that the shop keeper says if it requires gold to purchase
That requires gold to purchase
A mocking, often derogatory name given to those of high economic or social standing. Often referring to those who are greedy and perpetuate their greed with powerful connections.
"Those gold nosed upper crust billionaires screwed us over!"
"These gold nosed upper crusts have kept us down for too long!"
to "bite and bake to gold" is to cut corners and expect everything to turn out well. For example, when baking bread, you can eat ("bite") some of the bread dough, but still bake it "to gold" (golden brown) and having eaten it doesn't matter. usually people use this negatively- i.e."it's not something you can bite and bake to gold"- to essentially mean "don't cut corners".
"Hey, Dr. Bam, do you think I have to sanitize this scalpel?"
"Obviously you do, surgery isn't something you can just bite and bake to gold."

Gold plastic syndrome (GPS) is the phenomenon of a toy's plastic decomposing and becoming brittle to the point of shattering or crumbling under minimal-stress conditions. The term comes from Transformers fandom, referencing G2 Electro toy,but it's appliable to every other toyline. The main couse of GPS is unknown, but it's thought that certain plastics weren't mixed as well as others, possibly because of the metallic pigment or colouring, so they break down more quickly.
My G1 BlackZarak probably a victim of Gold Plastic Syndrome. It shattered before even transform him.
