It was 'against Family Values' in his book. He was too stupid to realize that it was just a comedic (with a little drama) FICTIONAL TV show, not 'encouraging' anything. After George Bush lost his reelection bid to Bill Clinton in 1992, he stated that he was going to retire to be a full time grandpa, and write his memoirs. They came out nearly 9 years later. He's had a colorful illustrious life and many changes occurred during his 8 years as Reagan's Vice President and 4 as President. As for having Dan Quayle as his Vice President; all he wrote was, 'My God! What was I thinking?!!'.
