Abercrombie and Fitch

I have written extensive explinations of each of the Abercrombie & Fitch areas, but before you read them, I wanted to say this: I am currently an employee of A&F and enjoy my position very much. I do not like to hear or read negative things about my place of employment, that is why I have written so extensively. I have just graduatated from high school and yes I was the "poplular kid", no I didn't play football, but I was a "prep" and not afraid to admit it. I believe in what the Abercrombie label stands for and that is why I purchase their merchandise and work in their store. I was not however, just friends with people who wear Abercrombie and Hollister. I was friends with the people I played sports with, most of whom wore Volcom, Hurley, Fox Racing, etc. I also graduated in the top 5% of my class which contained 450 students. This is why I wanted to clear up that not everyone who wears A&F clothing is "dumb, rich, a conformist", or otherwise. My position at A&F is "model", which I see as a huge responsibility. I have to represent our lifestyle as best as possible and I do so with pride. If you do not like the Abercrombie & Fitch lifestyle that is perfectly fine and up to you, but I do ask that you respect those who do find that this lifestyle is a way they would like to live their lives.

Abercrombie and Fitch is the most successful specialty realtailer in operation today. The casual, classic, all-American lifestyle brand of clothing is synonymous with quality. Although they sepcifically target college students between the ages of 18-22, their appeal is universal.

The A&F Culture is one-of-a-kind. They design, merchandise, market - and live - the Abercrombie & Fitch brand. They are their best customer. A&F's brand powered momentum is fueled by additional lifestyle reinforcement. Every aspect of their stores - the music, the marketing and photos, the overall aesthetic - has made the in-store experience more potent than ever.

abercrombie and fitch

Clothing shop where they sell peculiar clothes, with a certain style. People like it because of its comfortable use and interesting look. However, due to large masses of people flocking towards it, it's prices sky-rocketed and it has become expensive and an icon for "preppy" society.
Usually related to popped collars and over 953 kinds of flip flops.
People tend to have at least 1 article from the shop

Person1:Let's go to Abercrombie to shop
Person2: Ok... I needed new flip flops for the chistmass party (Note: this conversation takes place in Alaska)

Abercrombie and Fitch

A ridiculous prep/ slut store where people with no originality or imagination go to buy overpriced shit clothes. The walls in the store have been plastered with ridculous soft porn ads, and when someone walks in there wearing no A&F clothing, they get dirty and suspicious looks all from all around. Promoting sex in your magazines and website is totally inappropriate, not to mention how not one peice of their clothing doesn't have a moose or logo stitched onto it, screaming to the world "I'M RICH AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO FLAUNT IT! FUCK OFF WEIRDOS!" and skirts for 14 year old girls that don't even cover their asses, leaving their A&F brand thongs sticking out for the total male population to see.

spoiled slut: guess what i got at A&F today?!?!
mom: what?
spoiled slut: a brand new THONG!!!! oh my god! and it was only $18!!!! it goes PERFECTLY with my brand new disgustingly short skirt that doesn't even cover my ass that cost $72 and my extremely low cut $39 bleach and paint splattered tee shirt that barely covers my non-existent 11 year old breasts!

Abercrombie and Fitch

What you wear to let your frat buddies know you're up for being sodomised, without having to be so tacky as to spell it out.

Love your A&F chinos. Wanna come up to my room later and watch Gladiator?

abercrombie and fitch

A shallow, superficial, materialistic clothing brand that encourages ignorance and superficiality among teenagers and uses pornographic images in their ads. They use phrases on their t-shirts such as "school should be optional" or "I don't school let get in the way of my social life," forcing idiocy upon teenagers. Abercrombie and Fitch brain-washes teenagers into believing that $60 for a t-shirt is not at all expensive. In addition, a size XL from Abercrombie and Fitch is about equivalent to a size Medium at another store.

1. My not being able to fit into the size XXXXXXS jeans at Abercrombie and Fitch led to me anorexia.

2. I don't think knowledge and education hold any significant value, because Abercrombie and Fitch said so.

Abercrombie and fitch

Started back in 1892, originally called Abercrombie & Co., Sold hunting gear, mainly african themed. Some years later, a lawer named Ezra Fitch, a lawyer and frequent customer to Abercrombie, joined partnership. Thus starting Abercrombie and Fitch.

Abercrombie and Fitch was THE store to buy anything- Be it a toothbrush or a foot stool. However, overtime, the sales slowly dropped and Abercrombie and Fitch went into a Regression. Around 1996 I believe Abercrombie & Fitch was bought out by a Bigger clothing manufacturer, and started producing clothes. Their sales sky rocketed, and have been up ever since.

In current times, Abercrombie and Fitch is the drinking pool for Popular, rich american youth. From items priced at $9.90 to $198.00, you can pretty much find anything; Flip flops, jeans, shirts, colonge, hell- even backpacks and postcards.

Subjected to Ridicule, most people fail to see the point of Abercrombie and Fitch. Yes, it sells pre-ripped jeans and faded shirts, because that is the current style.

No, they have not always sold ripped jeans, but they have people working around the clock to follow trends. People who whine and complain about Abercrombie usually cannot afford or access the store, so they poke fun at it.

However, they are completely ignorant and oblivious to such Brands as D&G, and A|X, which ACTUALLY sell T-shirts for $100.

So, let people who love Abercrombie simply love Abercrombie. Speaking from personal opinion, i made the switch from Surf clothes and such to Abercrombie because of the comfort and durability.

So, I leave you with this ancient proverb.

"Buy cheap, get cheap."

p.s. for those who banter "stop shopping at Abercrombie and go to laCoste" needs to drown. LaCoste, like Abercrombie, is made in Sweat shops, but sells for about $40 more per polo shirt then Abercrombie. But then again, maybe you've never been into Saks Fifth before.

My grandmother owns Abercrombie and Fitch rhinoskin footstool set - no joke.

"Where did you get that cute skirt?"
"Oh, it came from abercrombie and fitch."

"You're wearing Abercrombie?! What, did you pay $100 for that shirt?!"
"Uh, no, I payed 15 dollars for it."

"Lolz guyz, letz make fun of dem abercrombie fags lolz"
"yayuh, they payed 100 dollars for ripped jeans."
"hey, want to go buy a trench coat from hot topic? they're onsale for $210"
"Lolz, sure man dat be cheap"
