A term used to refer to the United States of America. A country that proclaims itself a Federation but isn't, a singular nation despite being an empire made up of many puppet regimes, a democracy yet isn't democratic, a republic but isn't truly a republic. Proclaims freedom yet is neither the freest socially or economically, and just about every other facet of it's being, being a lie.
"(Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin) and I discussed this topic, naturally bearing in mind the sanctions that the so-called Western community - as I called it in my speech, the 'empire of lies' - is now trying to implement against our country," a transcript of the meeting quoted Putin as saying.

The Mongol empire was one the biggest empires in history. It was born in 1206 and hit its peak in 1309, but began starting to fall as other countries became richer, and then in 1368, it finally fell to its death and it just became a single country named Mongolia. You may hear about Temujin, who is just Chinggis/Genghis Khan disguised.

The Empire of Brazil was the golden and best period in the History of Brazil, a super Power of its period and the greatest country of the Americas for a period. People used to escape from their countries to move there. With a coup of e'tat made by the "Republican"oligarchies and the elite coffee makers pro slavery at the time, tricked the Brazilian people into thinking they were fighting for the Emperor Dom Pedro II, which was in fact a lie, because the people loved the empire, and once they discovered there were many protests. In the end of the republican coup, they yelled "Hail the Emperor" as a way to hide their shame after exiling their own Emperor.
