guy hug

A friendly embrace between two guys that does not follow the restrictions of the man hug. The participants are almost always very good friends. It can occur for any number of reasons, for any length of time, at any location, but does not have sexual connotations. It is a rare sight in the western world due to rampant homophobia.

Megan: "That hug was over five seconds, are they gay?"
Colin: "No man, they're good friends, its just a guy hug."
