the lads

aka: 'the group', 'the guys', or 'those dirty litle stoners'

A crowd who mainly hang about wolferton 6th form, pertending they're all gonna go to Uni and be sucessfull. But in realty their lifes are in a current state of total chaos and have been ever since the introduction of Frost and Joe into the group (aka: the beef barrons.)

The group varies in size depending on the mount of beef brought to any one event, or the likly hood of the individual members to get in (eg Frost never gos to Spiders, and Wanye never goes anywhere cool!)

Although given the name 'the lads' they now consist of nearly as many girls, namely, Ollie, Gemma and Irene.

The lads would like to appoligise for any inconviences/arguments/fights/mass destuction/holocausts they might be responsable for.
They justifie all acions with one simple phrase (as used by Boss man in court case on Monday): "WE'RE ABOVE THE LAW!!!!"

Al:"wheres the gathering this week?"

Frost:"Not at mine!"

Joe:"in my shed then"

Al:"Eeeeeeeeeeeeasy now! Ill call the lads"

Acronym for "Lazy Ass Developer". User to refer to people in app development who cannot be compelled to work.

Technical leader – Did you hear that the QA guy automated all the tests so he wouldn't have to run them manually everytime?
Developer – I did, what a LAD!

An Australian term used to describe young teens who think they are top shit. 'Lads' are usually found all over Sydney areas and they all believe that they are big and mad. In most cases they are just small little guys wanting trouble. 'Lads' can easily be distinguished in the public because they are almost certainly wearing a Polo or Nike 'Dri-Fit'-(HAT), a polo top, parachute track pants and almost certainly Nike Tn's or just Nike shoes in general. 'Lads' think they are 'god's gift' and are always looking for trouble. 'Lads' like to pick on innocent teenagers and try there best to 'roll them'. 'Rolling' means bashing innocent people for their items. Like nice shoes, watches...basically anything that is expensive and looks cool. 'Lads' are people who normally are living a shit 'homelife'. These 'lads' will often hang around with a group of around 4-6.

"The lads threatened the innocent teenage by saying "Lets roll this cunt, he has a nice G-Shock on. Within in seconds the lads had taken his watch and more."
