When you are affected by a couple of drinks but FORCED to stop drinking (eg. Boss makes you go back to work after boozy lunch) to then find yourself in a strange head space of almost tipsy & in dire need of a sleep.
NOTE: The only known cure is to keep drinking
Went out for Friday lunch today and knocked back 2 beers, then something came up and we had to rush back to work and spent the rest of the afternoon in alco-limbo.

When you feel like you have too much work to go to bed, but you're too tired to get anything done so you just surf the web and procrastinate until you can't stay awake anymore.
Joe: Oh man, I'm so tired.. I need coffee.
Dave: Up late again? Are you finally getting your work done?
Joe: No man, I was just stuck in sleepytime limbo again, as usual.
Dave: Oh, damn, I feel you.

Lovers Limbo - When you are stuck in between waiting for your lover to come back to you, and having to decide if you should keep waiting for them, or move on yourself.

A One Pimbo Limbo, is when you go to take a shit but instead of just sitting on the toilet seat, you spread both cheeks set one on one side of the seat and the other on the other side. The goal is to have to wipe less.
"Yo man, have you tried the One Pimbo Limbo? That shit works"
"Yeah I have, only had to wipe twice."
A game or movie that's not old enough to be retro, and therefore nostalgic, but not new enough to be relevant.
Mischief Makers, The Rocketeer and Robocop could be considered to be in retro limbo.

While in a public forum, two or more people engage in intercourse at a Jamaican celebration, specifically after eating lunch, which involves the consumption of christmas themed food.
