They say that the three fingers make a "w", while the index finger and the thumb along with your wrist makes "p".

I don't know why people just want to be PC af. WP can mean so many things, why not "white powder", "wee penis", "well played" or "what's popping." If people want to be PC af why not "Women Power".

As a non-white person I think this is just bullsh*t

My white friend who did not know the PC meaning behind the ok sign got into trouble after using that on a music video about "Peace out 2020-21 school year."

To sign out is to disconnect from a website so that you are no longer signed in.

Sign out means the same thing as "Log out".
Sign out in public places is to leave a place and confirm that you are leaving.
Opposite of Sign in/Log in.

Dude 1: Bro I gotta go man.

May stem from Winston Churchill flashing the Victory sign after WWII.

In Japan the sign may have also become popular because of the post-WWII Allied occupation of Japan. Janet Lynn may have popularized its use in amature photographs when in the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo she fell, but still continued with a smile. To the world war II generation it meant victory but to hippies and neohippies peace is victory.Known to make police and conservatives angry.
