highway drafting

A driver in a motor vehicle following another vehicle or vehicles on a public highway, virtually bumper to bumper at matching speeds to decrease wind shear and increase speed of both vehicles. Originally used in professional motorsports to increase performance at superspeedways, some motorists employ the technique on public roads. Considered to be unsafe and bad road etiquette, many experts agree it should be only performed by professional drivers on a controlled track.

"If that jerk was any closer to my bumper he'd be in my front seat, I don't know if he's highway drafting or if he wants me to get over".
