Bar Life

When you think about yourself and your fake friends more than your kids.

Years tend to go by and no one will marry you. Due to the fact that the bar life was your hangout.

This is a sad day for many when Kristy wakes up in her 40's too realize that the bar life was all that mattered.

Don't forget about Joe that loved you the most.

Palmer: Why has nobody married Kristy?

Dan: Dude she can't keep her legs closed!

Palmer: That's what happens when you think that the bar life is got you by the balls.

K-Bar

K-Bar also given as Kbar, Ka-Bar or KA-BAR is the name of a combat and utility knife adopted during World War II by the United States Marine Corps as the 1219C2 combat Knife. Later redesignated as USMC Mark 2 Combat Knife, the knife was also adopted by the US Navy as the US Navy Utility Knife, Mark 2. Besides being the name of the knife, k-bar can also be used as a verb, so if you k-bar someone, you kill them with a k-bar knife and someone killed in this way can be described as having been k-barred.

β€œI am pissed off with the bullshit we’re getting from that new STRAC REMF LT. As soon as we get out into the boonies, I’m goin’ to K-bar the bastard.”

Ka-Bar

A utility/fighting knife first issued to the USMC during WWII. It served as a can opener, a trench digger, a log splitter, and proved useful in cutting roots, wire, and cable. Of course, when necessary, the Ka-Bar also proved quite useful in creating rather impressively large wound channels in the flesh of its targets. For the larger part of a century, this knife and its adapted variants accompanied the men who lived and died for the United States. Despite its rather dated design, this tool to this date maintains its value in the eyes of those who are always prepared.

From Marvel's "The Punisher":

Frank: "I gotta tell you, I do approve of your choice of weapons. What you picked, that's called a Ka-Bar. It's a Marine's best friend. You know, up close, I'd rather have this than any firearm. You see, with a gun, the target can get lucky. A bullet can miss what's important. But not with this. You slide it in, you guide it through and you rip right into the parts of a man that make him dead. There's no luck in that."
