The air was filled with smoke and blood. The line of patricians retreating away from their once great city was most reminiscent of a funeral ritual. Some were crying. Many were angry. Many were wounded.
a pointless-story-ending, similar to "and then i found ten dollars." when your story went nowhere, you put this on the end to make it interesting. generally used satirically to admit story-telling defeat.
cammie:well then it looked like the car had a scratch, but then it didn't really...
lila: cammie, is this story going anywhere?
cammie:...so i saw this chick, and i wanted to talk to her, but then i didn't...and that's when i saw the blood...
lila: *facepalm*

A series of films created by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, starring Pegg and Nick Frost in the lead roles. Each film takes a specific film genre and makes and effort to Pilgrimize it. The first two installments, "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz," Pilgrimize zombie movies and buddy cop/action movies, respectively. The currently in-production third film, "The World's End" is supposed to apply the Pilgrimization technique to sci-fi films.
The name is derived from the fact the each film, in addition to featuring copious amounts of blood, features of different flavour of Cornetto ice cream. Red Strawberry for "Shaun of the Dead," Blue Classico for "Hot Fuzz," and Mint-Green Chocolate Chip for the upcoming "The World's End" (tennative).
Also known as the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.
Dude, I cannot wait for the last installment of the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy, it's gonna be awesome.
A drinking game in which any time a spoken or visual reference to blood, sand, or cock appears, all players take a drink.
References can be changed or added at any time for the slower and more dialogue-heavy portions of the episode, as long as the drinking continues. For example, references to tits, amputees, or any time someone says a word that ends in -us can all be added to the further the liquor consumption. Synonyms for any of the three words -- such as "dirt" or "shaft" -- can also be used as references.
Spartacus: Blood, Sand, and Cock example:
Lucretia: "Oh, Jupiter's Cock!"
Me: Cock! She said cock! Everyone take a drink!

If an Australian says to you that "your blood's worth bottling", he/she is paying you a major compliment.
If an Australian believes you have been of great assistance to him/her in some way,for example solved a worrying problem for the person, had a positive impact on the person's life, been a true and helpful friend to that person, or done something of a significant positive nature for that person then he/she may show his/her very great appreciation for your help by telling you "Mate (or your name), your blood's worth bottling". Generally it is a special compliment only handed out for some personal contribution by you that the person believes is of particular significance to him/her. It is said when other methods of showing your appreciation are not enough, where it may be difficult to put your feelings into words or where it saves you going into a long winded explanation of your feelings.
