Was an alright band untill American Idiot came out. Now they are the most overy hyped and overrated band in America. 99% of people that listen to them didn't even knew they existed untill American Idiot came out.
Green Day is no longer cool because of people that like them and either don't listen to anyother band or listen to crapy bands like Good Charlotte and avril lavinge.

One of the greatest punk bands of all time. They had 2 minor albums (1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, which is a collection of the album 39 Smooth, and the EPs 1000 hours, and slappy, and kerplunk!) before they made dookie and hit it big. theyve made more hit studio albums, like insomniac, nimrod, warning, and their newest one, american idiot. theyve also produced a greatest hits album (international superhits) and a rarities album (shenanigans).
green day really is a good band, and idk why some people diss them alot. theyve got good songs, and play really well. most of u who dont like them probably have never even heard one of their songs let alone all their albums, try listenin to them b4 u make a judgement call.

I've heard the whole thing and it's not Green Day.
I wish they would just get back to rocking out and forget about politics.
It has hurt their music.The music on their new CD is very bad and it's because they are trying to be something they are not.I don't care if they want to cut George Bush's head off and fuck it.Just get back to making good music again because this new CD is so fuckin shitty that it's like a GOod Charlotte CD and not a Green Day CD.I'm sure alot of teenyboppers will like it.I'm sure Bush haters will like it (even though it's musically bad).But it's not like all other Green Day CD's which are all kick ass and therefore THEY FUCKED UP!

A volunteer office committee dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of a company's employees. Green teams implement programs to purchase reusable dishes (vs disposable), coordinate e-waste recycling programs, organize creek clean-ups, advocate the "bottle pledge", etc. Green teams are often funded by small overhead budgets which fund lunches for committee members, the purchase of dishes, etc.
Hey, did you hear that the Green Team bought reusable dishes so that our office lunches don't fill up a small landfill every week!?

A band that has been degraded by 14 something year olds from one of the best bands of the 90's to just some kind of poser band thanks to American Idiot (American Idiot isn't bad IMO). Thanks a lot for making them one of the most hated bands of the 2000's.
