Bae

Perhaps the most overused word dating back to 2014 up until now, February 1st, 2016. Unfortunately, this is likely a trend that will continue as time goes on. People have argued two different definitions;
Bae- "before anyone else". It serves as somewhat of an acronym for people too lazy to simply just say "before anyone else"
Bae- A shortened way of saying "babe"
Regardless, it is an illogical and non-intellectual word to use in any kind of situation, contrary to what many middle-schoolers and high-schoolers believe.

"Hey bro, what are you doing tonight?"
"Seeing a movie with bae"
"With who??"
"Bae. My girlfriend."
"Why wouldn't you just say babe?"
".... I'm not really sure"
