DC SFRA

Acronym for Washington DC Special Flight Restrictions Area. Excessive restrictions on General Aviation flight within 60 Nautical Miles of DC enacted temporarily after 9/11, then made permanent at the end of the Bush Administration. A useless bureaucratic circle jerk that inconveniences GA pilots while doing little to make us safer from terrorism.

Pilot #1: "Did you hear that the DC SFRA is now permanent?"
Pilot #2: "So some politicians got together and had a little circle jerk and decided that my routine GA flight is now a matter of national security based on an imagined threat?"

Special DC

When a member of your raidโ€™s parent suddenly unplugs them from their internet for the rest of the night on multiple occasions.

Joban: "Where did Volfmir go?"
Fatalxfury: "He had a special DC again."

AC/DC

In Australia (where AC/DC originates) this band is often referred to (mainly by blue collar types) as Acka Dacka.

What's your favorite band mate?
Acka Dacka of course...

A relatively good band from Australia that made it big in 1980 with Back in Black, a silent tribute to the late lead singer Bon Scott. A shirt that says Back in Black is rampant in schools, and the vast majority of the people who wear these shirts and think they're badass oldschoolers have never even heard any of their songs, with the exception of the chorus of Back in Black (the song).

So, in short: A good band that many poseurs claim to like simply because they think it's cool, despite the fact they probably don't own/never downloaded the album.

I was listening to Shoot to Thrill when that motherfucker skate punk who thinks he's the shit strides up to me and says fake-psychedelic-like "Dude, what is that song man? And like, who sings it?". He's wearing a Back in Black shirt, and I say "You must be fucking joking, right? You're wearing a shirt that has the name of the album on it!". He replies "Oh yeah dude! This is AC/DC! Must have had a brain skip dude!"

Washington DC

Other than being the capital of the U.S., D.C. is known for having a predominantly Black population (not counting those that live in the outside suburbs, but go to work in the city). From this large Black population, D.C. has developed a very distinctive culture including its Go-Go music, mambo sauce, and style of dress for the younger population (a style that is very different from other metro areas that imitate NYC for the most part). And, like many other large metro area, the people here have a their own slang and accent, one that is cross-bred from both the South and the North. Despite the recent developement projects going on there, the SouthEast section of DC is popularly known as the most dangerous area of the town. In addition, many long-time DC residents have been moving to the bordering counties such as Prince George's County, MD, Charles County, MD, and Alexandria, VA.

I can tell you're from Washington DC, because you're accent doesn't have a heavy drawl like the Dirty South, but it definitely ain't New York or Philly.
