Obama era

The Obama era is the name given to the time period in American history from 2009 until 2017 during which Barack Obama was the first African-American and 44th Democratic Liberal President of the United States.

The Obama era was tough for a lot of Americans.

Plumber's era

From 1988 to 1995 the NBA added 6 expansion teams depleting the talent pool of teams overall and allowing players with limited skill sets to join the league. This era was diluted talent wise and players with other professions such as plumbers, coal miners and car salesmen played in the league.

Guys like ehlo, starks and danny ainge were Jordan's best competition in the plumber's era.

New Era

Referring to the South Park episode "Little Old Fashioned," where a hand job was referred to as an "Old-Fashioned." A New Era is a blow job.

The era before the world wide web was common.

I was born in the B.W. era.

Soft era

An era in which black women choose not to take up masculine qualities nor show them as they’ve been doing for decades to replace men that should have been there helping them. Becoming more feminine; To seek men who will allow for their femininity to show instead of being hard; Becoming defenseless.

Ronald Reagan Era

Period during the 1980s in which Ronald Reagan started the War on Drugs which ultimately made obtaining drugs as easy as obtaining groceries. This led to thousands of Americans becoming addicted to crack cocaine, resulting in women giving birth to crack babies. The real victims of this era were the babies who were born addicted to crack.

James: That would be tough to grow up in the Ronald Reagan Era, especially if your parent was an addict.

John: Yeah, Kendrick Lamar was born into it. Shit's tough, man.
