Jelly Bracelets

This is sooo amazingly stupid.I wear them and i had no clue what they ment until last night. I am soo mad. Why are immature junior high kids (sry anyone who is of that age who is not playing this game) trying to make a game of sex?! Snap (thats evadently what the "game" is called) is immature and totally ridiculas. Tell me someone that when little kids of the age of 5 or so wear them they are asking for sex. Now when teens/kids where these colorful fashion statements they will have the mark- Sexpistol all over them. I'm sry i will not stop wearing those colorful bracelets just because some immature kids are being perverted.

I don't know what the colors mean. At my school they are simply a fashion statement. Mostly worn by punks and people with their own style, like me.

Jelly bracelets

I think that the whole "sex bracelets" is all bull. I mean schools in my area have even banned them because they "promote" sexual relations. I believe that no matter what, people are still going to have sex and whatnot with or without banning the bracelets. Breaking someone's "sex bracelet" does not mean you HAVE to have sex with that person, it's still your choice. I wear the Jelly bracelets and yes some of my friends and my ex and my current boyfriend have even broken them but that doesn't mean I am obligated to have sex with them, I'm still a Virgin!!! My friends and I all do know what the colors "mean" but we jokingly break them basically making fun of people who actually think you have to have sex with someone who broke your black jelly bracelet. Get real people! Keep wearing those Jelly bracelets no matter what people think! ROCK ON!

omg u broke my jelly bracelet, my mom's gonna kill me!

Jelly Bracelets

colorful bracelets worn in the '80s as a fashion statement or fad, like charms or florescent socks. They did not stand for sex then. I guess times have really changed. People will find meanings for everything, like rainbows mean gay.

I used to wear all 80 of my jelly bracelets at one time.

jelly bracelets

i came here to see what the jelly thing was all about. I wore them when i was a kid and they were cool. I had jelly sandals too...what the hell do THOSE mean now? I think its sad that some of these girls have actually bought into this whole thing and feel obligated to give up sexual favors just cuz someone "snapped" them.

Someone stepped on my black jellie shoes...and my toe hurt after.

Jelly Bracelets

I haven't heard about jelly bracelets until I read about on AOL's teen website. I did a little research, and now I do know what they are. A jelly bracelet is just what it says it is. A bracelet. The only people that seem to be making it about sex is adults. Don't ban them from everyone because one kid fucked all the boys/girls in the school because they pulled on a certain color. It's not that big of a deal. They might be a fashion statement, but I don't wear them. To tell the truth, I haven't seen them. And if I did, I wouldn't waste my money on them. For those who do wear them, keep wearing them. If you know you're not doing the wrong thing, you're doing fine. The main people who will recieve the greatest impact from this are the ones that are giving head and so on. Keep on with the bracelets.

Black, blue, red, orange, purple, etc. They're all colors of the rainbow. Nothing else.
