A Hip Hop/Rap artist. He basically has an age limit. Anyone over 20 who grew up listening to Kurtis Blow, Public Enemy, Nas, etc. probably hates him because they don't like his flow, his lyrics, or the beats. They can relate more to "FIGHT THE MAN!" than "I wish I could fxck every girl in the world". Some people consider him to "mainstream" but what the hell do you want him to do? Should he be a mixtape rapper his whole life (even though he releases a different mixtape basically every other day). And for the people who are older that are saying "Lil Wayne's the reason Hip Hop's dead! FIGHT THE POWER MAN, FIGHT THE POWER, YEAH!" really need to get with 21st century. Go ahead and listen to those beat-ass fourty five year old rappers that think they can still spit (Jay-Z, Nas, LL Cool J, etc.) but Hip Hop's changing. You might think that Hip Hop's dying, but everyone else thinks Hip Hop's being reborn.

has a lot of haters, and isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes him out to be. lyrically, he kills it. all the time. i don't know of a rapper that works harder than him, he puts out like, at least 3 new songs everyday. hes extremely dedicated, and talented. not all of his songs are about bitches, and so what if alot of em are. other rappers cant touch his vocabulary or metaphors. he goes hard on all his mix tapes and drops. fuck all u who dont realize any of this! im not even some fucking wayne obsessed bitch, but he is definatley one of the best out there right now, and ppl dont give him enough initiative.

A rapper from New Orleans. He is really no good, abuses auto-tune, cannot freestyle, has recently tried his hand in rock music but did not work out too well for him. Claims to be the best rapper alive but he cannot freestyle and neither does he write his own raps so you can't call him an actual rapper anyway. Has worms coming out of his head, has cum tattoos by his eye and looks like the boogeyman. He uses lame metaphors and similies in his "raps".

Lil Wayne (born, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) is a rapper born Sept 27, 1982, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up in the area of Hollygrove. Although lyrically not always the best rapper, he makes up for it with his personality and his songs that are worth listening to. His attitude and stage presence has made him one of the biggest rappers out there. He has made and been in over 100's and 1000's of songs, but there is the issue of quality vs. quantity. He has 6 studio albums, with 2 on the way, 10 official mixtapes, and 4 collab albums in the past 10 years which is an incredible amount of music, for 1 artist. Many of his haters are in no position to judge, because they listen to his shitty radio songs and think he's mainstream and overrated, they don't take the time to listen to his songs that go deeper than money, cars and woman. This may be a biased coming from a lil wayne fan myself, but I think his songs that are lyrically clever and original and have meaning make up for all the shit lyrics he puts out as well. He's been working towards his success since he was just 8 years old, and is dedicated and devoted to both his career and his fans. Many think he'll never compare to the timeless legendary rappers such as tupac, nas, biggie or even eminem, but in the end he deserves all the same respect as these rappers, because no matter how much we try to deny it, he was ambitious and has worked hard to be where he's at and I believe he deserves all his success and more.

Lil' Wayne is tha number 1 rapper of 2007 and many years to come. He is on almost every remix and appeals to others outside of the hip-hop community. Makes mixtapes almost every month and is part of young money, cash money, and dipset record labels. Born in New Orleans once was a part of tha hot boys but now he is a solo rapper and has become very popular and successful.
Other names: Weezy F. Baby, Tha Carter, Birdman Jr., Best Rapper Alive etc..
