barrens chat

A term used to describe the colorful conversations that ensue when low - level players quest in a large, relatively boring landscape termed 'The Barrens.' Many players find these interactions quite annoying, however others see them as a way to relieve the boredom of running through and endless, creep - filled desert.

The barrens chat was rather lame last night.

Chat & Cut

Cuts in line by appearing out of nowhere, striking up a conversation with someone just in front of you and, before you know it, is part of the line.

Larry David: See what she's doing there? It's called the Chat & Cut

Jeff: Chat & Cut really?
Larry: She's faining familiarity with someone she think he knows for the sole purpose of sole purpose of cutting in line

Flat Chat

When someone is extremely busy

He is flat chat on other work today and will get back to you tomorrow.

chat kill

By definition a "chat kill" is when you stop the chat. Technicalities include:

1 - You have to be the one who posted last.
2 - It must be at least 10 minutes before you "claim the chat kill"
3 - No one can say anything during those 10 minutes for the chat kill to count.
