Northern Fraternity

Contrary to the biased views on the Northern Fraternity that the geographically lower Fraternities of America have created, Northern Fraternites are known everywhere for their hospitality, respect towards women, and culture. Northern Fraternities were the first to be founded, and first to quicken the ethical code of our nation. A Northern fraternity man will be the first to display these characteristics. Southern Fraternities may claim to be cultured gentlemen when in reality many of them hold the same ideals embraced by most Southern citizens of the early 1860's, which directly inhibits the diffusion of American culture on many levels. Many are quick to forget that 90% of the clothing styles worn by Southern fraternities were all procreated in the North, and designed for Northern culture and tradition. Any use of derogatory Fraternal slang is the primary way to identify a true fraternity man from the any sub-par organization.

A Northern Fraternity will follow a fraternal code, and express the class that Southern Fraternities claim they have.

Northern Virginia

The area of the Commonwealth of Virginia, with about 3 million people or so next to Washington DC, that should to do the rest of Virginia a favor and seceed to Maryland. It's an urban hell on earth and the epitome of urban sprawl gone ammock. Unlike the rest of Virginia, it is generally liberal, highly diverse, highly urbanized, a ridiculous cost of living, has ungodly traffic congestion, too much urban sprawl, a highly skilled and young workforce, and too many arrogant yuppies who live close to DC. The most jobs are in the Federal Government, high-tech firms, healthcare, law, and communications. Asians and Hispanics live everywhere. As much as Northern Virginia sucks, the best places to live are in Centerville, Chantilly and Leesburg. The people are very materialistic, fake, shallow, stuck up and think the country revolves around them. There is a megamall called Tyson’s Corner near the 495 Beltway that only rich people are allowed to patronize, and the regular middle-class ilk are mocked. The people are up in the clouds and often forget they are SOUTH of the Mason-Dixon line and part of the old Confederacy. It is northern Virginia that gives the state a bad name.

Northern Virginia should do the rest of the Commonwealth a favor and become Maryland. I lived there for a year about 3 years ago and hated everything about it.

Northern Valley

Northern Valley is a large group of towns in North Eastern New Jersey, one of the most wealthy areas in the United States. Northern Valley mostly consists of mid-upper class residents and has two schools, Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan and Norther Valley Regional High School at Demarest. Out of the two, the Demarest school has a better educational system, looking at the test scores, which are much higher in the Demarest location.

Northern Valley has many towns, the major and most known towns are Old Tappan, Demarest, Norwood, Norhtvale, Closter, Harrington Park, and others, but that's just to name a few major ones.

Both schools have, just like almost every public high school in the United States, some kids that drink underage, smoke, and/or do drugs. Northern Valley Demarest has the same amount of problem students as Northern Valley Old Tappan, but a better educational system, no matter what the other post says. (You can look it up. It's a fact.) There might even be less problem students in Demarest, but there is no way of telling that.

This is an unbiased post, as I am not in either of the Northern Valley high schools, but if I was going to be in one, I would definitely choose Demarest. However, there is no choice for the students, as you are assigned to a school based on how close you are to either school.

Friend1: Even my parents who went to Northern Valley OT (NVOT) say that the education was bad and that they were surrounded by problem students.
Friend2: I'm glad I'm going to NVD.

Friend1: NVD and NVOT have been rival schools for a very long time!
Friend2: Yeah, as long as my grandparents can remember!

Northern Virginia

A region adjacent to Virginia close to Washington, DC. Residents are extremely diverse socioeconomically. Cultural resources are generally more accessible closer to Washington, in Arlington and the City of Alexandria. Areas further away, such as Loudon, consist mainly of suburban subdivisions. Residents generally do not consider themselves from the South, and will never say they are from Virginia.

I'm not from Virginia, I'm from Northern Virginia.
