A term used to describe stupidity are a blatant lie. Often abbreviated "bs" or "bull". Less commonly abbreviated "bush" using the first two letters of each syllable and alluding to the presidency of George W. Bush (coined by Shreye Saxena).

2) To half-ass something, but it seeming that it was whole-assed.
1) This guy was trying to tell me that he was in the FBI, but I knew he was bullshitting me.
