Full Metal Alchemist

A japanese manga/anime. Edward and Alphonse both lost something important to them. Edward, being the bigger brother, lost his leg while performing a human transmutation for his dead mother, due to this failure, Alphonse, his little brother, lost his whole body. With Edward's last strength he gave up his arm and was able to cast his brother's soul into a suit of armor. After finding out that a human transmutation is "impossible," they've journeyed to find the Philospoher Stone. The philsopher stone is a rumor that has made every alchemist in the 16-17 century worked up on finding this stone. It is because it can, make you wealthier, longevity, bring the dead back, turn lead into gold, brings anything you desire. However, on their journey, they meet chimeras and homunculus.....

You cannot gain something without losing something. You have to present something with the equal value to gain the thing you desire. This is the code of equivalent trade in alchemy- An Actual Alchemy Code

full metal tweetstorm

The full-blown and violent verbal assault that the Moron in Chief uses in his Putin-funded warfare against the American people.

We have slowly become accustomed to the full metal tweetstorm that is essentially the deranged and sloppy word salad rantings of a madman.

garage metal

A band that plays like they spend all day in their garage playing their heart out and going nuts with their instruments. Some people might call these bands metalcore or hardcore.

I love garage metal.

melodic death metal

A variation on death metal, also known as "Melodeath." Bands in this genre seem to have borrowed many of the traits of thrash, and combined them with classical death metal. For instance, these bands tend to have longer songs, more guitar melody/solos, and much more diverse lyrics. Blast beats are used, but not quite as often as they are in the more classical style of death metal. Vocals tend to be a mixture of the higher black-metal-style growls and the lower death-metal-style ones. Some of the newer bands have even been making limited use use of clean vocals (i.e., Profane Omen, Absence, Chimaira). As far as the mood...this style tends to be a lot less doomy than black metal (i.e., more lively, and not so depressing).

It can be argued that this style began with the band Carcass and their release of the album called "Heartwork." Carcass was originally more of a Grindcore-type band, but slowly refined their style, and progressed into a more and more melodic form of metal, until "melodic death metal" or "melodeath" was born. Since then, hundreds of bands have come about exhibiting many of the same qualities, such as In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Fear My Thoughts, Shadow, Light This City, The Autumn Offering, etc.

florida death metal

A subgenre of death metal that started in the late 80's and is composed of bands such as Morbid Angel, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Malevolent Creation, Monstrosity, Resurrection, and so on.

Tampa is the most prevelant home to Florida Death Metal bands. Morbid Angel, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, and Deicide are some of the most notable ones to live and record in Tampa. Morrisound Studios is where a great many classic death metal albums were recorded, like CC's Tomb of the Mutilated, Morbid Angel's Covenant, Obituary's Cause of Death, and even Brazilian thrashers Sepultura came to Tampa in 1991 to record Arise with producer Scott Burns, who also produced numerous death metal albums.

The style of Florida death metal is not easily defined, it varies from cannibal corpses blood and guts themes to deicides anti-christian ranting. But it is usually just straight forward and to the point, no fancy productions or studio wizardy with an emphasis on riffs and song structures. some bands are more techinical than others. Most of them use blast beats and especially double bass, vocals go from thrash yelling to low guttural growls to high shrieks.

Overall, death metal would not be the same without these bands. Florida swamp death metallers unite.

Florida Death Metal is the best music EVER.
