When you're texting two people and you accidently send the wrong text to the other person. Such as, when you're texting your BFF and then your crush texts you and you send your crush the text you meant for your BFF.
(Through texts)
Me: Hey, Mandy.
Mandy: Hey, girl, what's up?
Me: So, I was thinking about taking my relationship to the next level with Jake...
Jake: Really? I've been waiting lol
*me: I'm so embarassed! That was the right text, wrong person!*

1.) a term used when one desperately desires the physical company of another (regardless of whether or not such an act is be prohibited by the existence of long distance boyfriend/girlfriend) and tries to achieve this through texting
2.) When, after consuming alcohol or illicit substances, you decide to text inappropriate things to inappropriate people. The loss of dignity is especially mortifying if no response is ever received. Typically followed by vows to never drink again the following morning after checking your outbox.
3.) Drunk texting gone very, very bad. If "hey boy" by the Blow has ever seemed like it could be your theme song, you've probably texted away your dignity
hungover girl: "ugh look what i texted to deleted boy last night! and he never texted anything back?! oh god i'm going to have to hide from him forever"
her friend: "wow, way to text away your dignity"

Getting a text message while zoning out or in the middle of the night (while sleeping, preferably) that scares you out of your skin, gives you a quick adrenaline rush, then leaves you with a slightly worn down heart and a bad message from someone you donβt really care that much about.
I got a text message heart attack last night when you woke me up at 2am with your pointless message!

The double text theory is defined as the act of another person texting you twice (or more) without you texting back, usually with a significant pause between texts (i.e. 5 minutes+). This Theory states that this action shows increased interest from a normal text-to-text conversation. The individual that receives the messages is most likely dominant in the conversation or relationship.
Girl: "Hey what's up?"
15 min later: "What are you doing?"
Boy: "nm u?"
Boy: "I can't wait to see that new movie with that thing! What are you doing friday?"
Hours later...
Boy: "So did you want to go with me to the movie?"
Girl: "New phone who diss?"
Usually if you act like a bitch and use the DTT (double text theory), you will be denied.

Created by MLIAers (Mylifeisaverage.com), the "I love you" texting fad swept across the nation. With people texting random numbers saying, "I love you," MLIA became a love-spreading mini-phenomenon. And although the MLIAers were sending out a kind message, a lot of receivers complained and threatened to call the authorities. With the creators of MLIA getting email after email of complaints of the site users sending anonymous texts, this fun hobby became a big problem. Eventually, Mylifeisaverage.com created a page about the dangers of texting people you don't know, and soon after that, the "I love you" texts decreased significantly.
But although the texting has subsided, a simple "I love you" is known throughout the world by the users of MLIA.
Person One: "Have you heard about the '"I love you" texting? Supposedly a bunch of people are sending out random texts telling people they love them."
Person Two: "Man, I want an 'I love you' text."
Person Three: "I love you!"
Person Four: "My life is average."

Being a bloke I have to say this is actually what GIRLS do. They feel the need to play "hard to get" and therefore don't text back, though usually it'll be after a couple of texts so it doesn't look too obvious.
Me: I was texting Becca earlier
My Mate: Cool, how'd it go?
Me: Ok for about half an hour, then she turned on the old unable-to-text-back syndrome
My Mate: Tut, of course...

A text message that is missing vital letters that complete the message and help make sense of it.
These messages are usually composed by people that strive to save money by using as little characters possible in a text message, thus altering the message to make it relate to that of an uncompleted word puzzle from Wheel of Fortune.
Text Messenger #1: "hlo, wts up... u cmn ovr frdy?"
Text Messenger #2: "lol, nice Wheel of Fortune Text Message"
