The A-pex Nerd

The Apex Nerd is the deity of the Nerds. He reigns over all that follow him and has an extremely large influence in the dark corners and parental homes of kids over age thirty and fourty in the world. The Apex Nerd only comes to one in visions and dreams, yet those not worth ("the Outworlders," or simply not nerds) statis cannot see him.

Perhaps even a wannabe high IQ person.
Who acts like they enjoy learning.
Who express themselves by using big words, when it's quite excessive.
A person who exceeds their studies by cheating.
A person who sometimes acts dumb to gain attention from others.
A person who acts quirky.
A person who tries to interest themselves in what nerds like.
That human is a fake nerd because they're being restrictive in a setting of real nerds.

A nerdtastic tantrum induced by either accumulation of nerdy goods (a.k.a. green laser pointer modded to 100 mW, an original press of The Silmarillion, a PS3 in 2006, etc.) or by destruction of the goods thereof.
If not attended to, a cascade of nerd fits may turn into nerd rage at which point immediate assistance is required to prevent nerd coma or a domino effect which could destroy further items or persons triggering additional nerd fits, yada yada yada.
