Brits (sometimes but not necessarily with Irish ancestry) who live or frequently holiday in Ireland and who love Ireland, the Irish and the Irish Celtic culture - often adopting Irish expressions, mannerisms and accents - and also often to the point of wishing/imagining that they were/are actually Irish, or at least more genelogically so. Not to be confused with any derogatory meaning for the snobbery of a belief in any Brit/anglo superiority.

upper west siders live in rent controlled apartments that they brag about paying $350/month for. They are the cheapest, most inconsiderate, self-righteous people walking around, in addition to the sense of entitlement that they harbor.
That Fucking Upper West Sider has a huge sense of entitlement, plus she didn't pick up her dog's shit from the middle of the sidewalk!

The upper west side is if not the BEST place to resid in NYC!!! It is beautiful, has beautiful people, and yes..i admit they are extremly rich or nuavo rich..but hey it is full of rich families. Just because you live there does not mean you are snobby. I attend a prep school, live in a penthouse suite with my own doorman on the UWS- and i am not snobby at all. I am a prep, and a true preppy isn't snobby. We are just unapproached and that is a common miscoseption about preppies..
The upper west side is one of the best places you'll ever go in your life! It roxz and if you can afford to live there you should, ITS the BEST part of the whole of Manhattan , actually in NYC..Come visit us!

Shawnee Mission West is by far the coolest of the Shawnee Mission Schools. Their biggest rival of these schools is Shawnee Mission East, but West wins every time. Because they're awesome. The mascot is a Viking (who was an actual person) as opposed to a Lancer (WTF is that anyways?) and overall the SMW kids are just cooler.
Girl: Did you hear about the Shawnee Mission West VS. Shawnee Mission East game?
Boy: Oh yeah, Shawnee Mission West was dom. They always are.
