A commonly-used (but etymologically obscure) term for a sausage that is usually eaten in a bun with ketchup, mustard, and/or relish.
"Sandwich sausage" would be more accurate, but ther term "hot dog" has stuck.
The Dachshund is notorious for looking like a hot dog (the most likely reason that hot dogs got their name was their likeness to the dachshund).

You see, "hot dog" literally means a dog that is hot, and taken figuratively can mean a frothingly horny canine.

An unappealing mixture of many things... a hodgepodge... a disorganzined mess... but probably still usable (or consumable in the case of food.) From the idea that a dog will eat anything and feeding it a mixture of whatever is on hand. (Unappealing because only the dog finds its breakfast appealing... if you see or smell the dog food in the morning, as you're feeding the dog, it may well turn your stomach.)
Those contractors didn't do very good work and the made a real dog's breakfast of that job

A Wing Dog is similar to the Wing Man in that he helps his buddy get laid. If things went right, and the Wing Man has done his job, the Wing Dog is at home to help you seal the deal. Sometimes the Wing Dog is good to meet girls at the park with also!
