She/they is a set of pronouns. Everyone and everything uses pronouns, and she/they is simply a set of pronouns. Such as he/him, she/her, they/them, neopronouns, etc. People who use she/they pronouns use these pronouns because they are comfortable with both she/her pronouns AND they/them pronouns.
