The slowest accelerating car of the 'Big Four' from Japan.
The Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, Toyota Supra Twin Turbo and Mazda RX-7 Twin Turbo all ran faster times through the quarter mile and from 0 to top speed.
Oh the 300ZX Twin Turbo? Z32 TT? Yeah it does 60mph in 5.5 to 6.0 and the quarter mile in 13.7-14.4@99-103. The VR4 did 60mph in 4.7-5.0 and the quarter mile in 13.2-13.5@101-105mph

nissans sport car of the 80's and early to mid 90's first started off in 1984(in north america) as the Z31 300zx the turbo version put out 205hp and 224lb-ft, the later years put out alittle more the z32 which is mid to late 89-96 put out 300hp and ran0-60 in 5.3-5 seconds.
Nissan 300zx are good sports car but arnt very good for turboing because only 1 bank of cylinders can power the turbo therefore there will be more turbo lag. inline engines still remain the best for turboing for the most part

The 1987 300zx Turbo was a sports car produced by Nissan Motor Co. Nissan decided to include the X (luxury) at the end of the name to signify their move toward a broader audience than the previous Z models. The turbo model (and only the turbo model) was designed and built in Khabul, Afghanistan from little more than mud and sticks. The T-tops were designed to give easy loading and unloading for an AK-47 or RPG, and the Turbos were instrumental in the defence of Afghanistan from Russia in the late 80's.
Did you see that suicide bomber in the 1987 300ZX Turbo?
