Depressed blackpilled bachelors. Typically always male. Usually (but not exclusive to) an age range of 20-50 years old.
Doomers want to have a good normal life, but have such a low sexual market value that they end up going on /nightwalks/ alone. They want a good job, but they're not talented enough or driven enough to achieve in the workplace. This results in extremely negative thinking about themselves and the world, and an "I've given up" kind of lifestyle. They think the world is "falling apart" and they're actually quite articulate in describing what's wrong, but no one wants to listen. They're like ghosts. Just unseen mostly.
After a full year of unemployment, my old friend began talking to himself and going on night walks. I believe he has gone full doomer.

A person who sees doom coming for humanity as a whole for either rational science-based reasons (AGW, nuclear war, doomsday clock, etc) or irrational reasons (zombie apocalypse, god's punishment, etc). Sometimes used as a slur against schizoid or loner types who have negative worldviews for mental health reasons.
This guy reading The Sixth Extinction is becoming more and more of a doomer as he turns the pages.

This person has enough problems that they usually enjoy more "synthetic" forms of happiness in the form of things such as drugs, drinking, gaming, porn, or anything else. They usually hang around grocery stores in the middle of the night getting cigarretts and beer for their nightwalk. This stereotype is just an adult versionn of emo, but with problems.
I desperately need medicine, but it is so late and the Doomers are lurking at the store. I really don't want to go but I have to.

The demographic cohort following Generation Z. Doomers will come of age at a time when the planet and, thus, society as we know it is irreversibly doomed.
The term is also an assonance (rhyme) of (baby) “boomer,” describing any individual of the very generation that is commonly said to be responsible for the doomed nature of post-millennial existence.
