ADHD(Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) is a mental disorder where the prefrontal cortex part of the brain is underdeveloped, so it produces less dopamine and norepinephrine than an average brain. This makes concentrating and remembering things difficult and can sometimes lead to hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattentiveness. Treatment includes counseling along with medications like Adderall, Ritalin, and Modafinil. Methiopropamine works too.
Kevin: I have ADHD so I take Ritalin and use a notebook to stay organized.

An absolute gift from god that lets a small sample of people have the ability to actually see this generations version of "normal" for the mundane bullshit it is. If it was for people like this, its likely the word would stay put, and advancments in science and art would never happen. Usally a person with ADHD already "gets" wtf a teacher is saying 2 minutes into her elementary boring ass lesson, and their brains branch to deeper thoughts that need answering, vice the simple bullshit that is still, and will continue to come of her mouth for the next 5 days.
Teacher: O.K. class so today where going to learn a deep and interesting subject about the solar system. So we have all the planets, around the sun.....
*While the rest of the class wrestles to grasp this simple shit*
Timmy's ADHD mind: How do we know that, who said so, whats stopping us from going there, who found this out, Hubble telescope? How do we know that pictures are the same in space as they are on the planet. How much funding does NASA get?
Teacher: Timmy why don't you sit and pay attention, raise your hand, and do you work quietly like the rest of the class.
Timmy: Well Ma'am, if I was as stupid as the rest of these idiots I would, and if you weren't as stupid as you are, you'd give me somethin TO ACUALLY LEARN.

A day in the life with ADHD:
1. Wake up
2. Go back to sleep
3. Wake up again
4. Sprint across a corridor
5. Look for food but end up staring at a tree
6. Stare at the tree for another 30 minutes
7. Forget about your food
8. Walk back into the room and suddenly remember to eat.
9. I forgot.
10. OH LOOK A SQUIRREL!
I donβt know what to say with this but ADHD is- OMG ITS A CLOUD!!!!

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, the most over diagnosed and at the same time unrecognized disorder of 'em all. Most kids who are diagnosed with it, don't have it they just don't have parents that parent them. So they get prescriptions when they feel like focusing, but then the kids who really do have it have to pop pills every morning to normal out and when they forget too and try and apologize, people don't take them seriously cause of all the fake kids with it.
Billy must have ADHD because he can never focus
No ma'am, you just need to limit his mountain dew.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.. Over diagnosed Learning disability. For those that really are ADHD it sucks. The people that are "normal" take adderall, ritalin etc to study for tests while we have to take it every fucking day just so we can sit through class without getting distracted by the lamest things.
Person without ADHD:
"I took an adderall/ritalin/concerta/strattera to study for my test thats today..I could possibly kill myself using this but who cares at least I get a good grade"
Person with ADHD:
"Get a fucking life.... I have to take it everyday so I can be normal"

think of it like this: a normal persons brain has an "orchestra" where each section isa different mental skill, like the pianist is math, and the trumpeters are speech, ect. you are the conductor. the "orchestra" of a normal person has say, musicians your age being conducted by a conductor your age. like a ten year old orchestra and a ten year old conductor. however, an adhd person's brain has PROFESSIONAL musicians being conducted by a 6 year old, so the piano is playing La Campanella, and the violinists are playing Ein Klien Nachtmuzik. you get the idea. adhd people have a wonderful brain that they dont know how to fully control, so they are very smart but may not seem like it from the outside. around 5-10% of people have adhd, so you might have it! this wonderful gift is a blessing and a curse. use it as best you can.
adhd is the fucking best btw im supposed to be doing english hw rn...
