Animaniac\animéniac isnt the actual word, they are two different words that mean similar things but are pronounced the same
Animaniac (ahn-uh-may-nee-ack) defines a person who is extremely obsessed with anime of all kinds and genres. For example "he is an animaniac."
Animéniac (pronounced the same way) defines a person who is extremely obsessed with a specific series or genre of anime. For example "he is an animéniac for. . ."
It is recommended to only use it in texting, e-mails, or written letters because if you use them in normal speech they aren't very easy to tell apart.
For animaniac, one example is: "Tommy is a big animaniac!"
And for animéniac: "Timmy is a big animéniac for Demon Slayer."
