Blockbuster

A movie and video game rental company. They supposedly no longer charge late fees for their items - primarily because Netflix is kicking their ass in market share. However, this is misleading, because individual stores are not required to honor that commitment!

I have yet to see one single local Blockbuster that doesn't have a sign reading "we do not participate in the 'No Late Fees' policy as advertised on T.V."

Blockbuster

This video store chain that ended up going bankrupt after people started using Netflix and when they started the whole "no late fees" policy at Blockbuster.

"Let's go to Blockbuster...wait it no longer is in business. Oh well. There's always gonna be Netflix!"

Blockbustered

To be in such a spiral of anti-socialness, or depression, all you do is go to Blockbuster and rent a lot of movies. Symptoms also include an excess comsumption of ice cream or Chinese food.

Blockbuster

A shitty wanna-be company that will/should either end up unionized or flat broke. Cheating people outta money is the game, treating employees like shit is a bonus. Managerial skills take backburner to sales. They actually had the balls to say late fees dont make up much of their profits. Ya, ok shitbrick.

No more late fees anymore.... or breaks. Get the right shade of laces 2-year employee or go home for good.

Blockbuster

A shitty company that is losing money every year and only exists because it gives Time Warner tax breaks..

Blockbuster is now getting sued over their policy on no late fees because it's a scam. Blockbuster keeps your credit card number in their computers. So if you rent out a movie, and don't return it within seven days, when you bumble back in thinking that you won't have any late fees they inform you that you have to buy the movie. Nice scam, morons.

Customer: Hello, I am returning this movie seven days late. However, due to your no late fees policy, I know I have nothing to worry about.

Blockbuster CSA: I'm sorry, sir, but we conveniently didn't inform you that if you keep the movie out for more than seven days we charge you for it. How would you like to go about paying for it?

Customer: See you in court.

Blockbuster

Most people would think it means its a "blockbuster movie" but that's not the true origin of the word. The true origin is from WW2 the U.S. military made a really big bomb that could take out a full square block and the infantry called it the blockbuster.

Hey sgt.willson there gonna drop a fer blockbusters on that city before we go in.
