Mainly used as an excuse for losing in order to play off a lack of skill.

You fucking put in the effort. They didn't appreciate you. They smashed your heart in the worst way possible. Growing up with trust issues and rejection. Broken. You feel like you're missing puzzel pieces. I want them to hurt like I did. You feel helpless. You feel like shit.

Being "Broken" is like trying to keep yourself together as a whole and function when there are pieces damaged and missing. Emotional detachment is the result, feeling nothing(not depression, anger, happiness etc). Often broken people cover up their condition by faking smiles in public to avoid conflict.
Jason has had a messed up life, now he's fucked up and BROKEN as hell!
