Derogatory term for an obnoxious Donald Trump supporter or promoter of Alt Right / Alt Light ideology. Typically refers to a young male online troll. Derived from the 1984 horror film "C.H.U.D." meaning "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller", and applied to MAGA ("Make America Great Again") shitposters due to their subterranean habitat and general contemptuousness. Shorthand for MAGA CHUD.

A chud is a typically conservative, reactionary, or generally right wing identifying person. Notable Chuds include (but are not limited to): Jordan Peterson, Candace Owens, Andy Ngo, and anyone who enjoys “Ben Shapiro destroys liberals with facts and logic” compilations on YouTube.
