cromulent

cromulent - acceptable or satisfactory

originally invented in the show simpsons i 1996 as a joke

β€œA noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.”

One teacher leans over to another and says that she’d never heard the word embiggen before . β€œI don't know why,” the other teacher replies. β€œIt's a perfectly cromulent word.”

the joke being that both embiggen and cromulent were not actual words

ironically both of these are now accepted into general use, with them having a page at merriam webster

there are alternate spelling of the word being: chromulent, cromulant which aren't the official spellings and are wrong but refer to the same thing

β€œIt's a perfectly cromulent word.”
