A paid shill that often goes on television pretending that they know more than everybody else to promote the false agenda of whoever is paying them. Note: they often sprinkle in facts and figures to confuse the viewer but never give an accurate picture of the issue being discussed.
The climate change expert went on Fox News today to discuss how global warming is totally not a thing and its everybody's imagination that its getting hotter and sea levels are rising.

Someone with a blog or a dude with an opinion.
Daily Kos, some dude on the street, the old guy next to you at your cousin's wedding, the guest "expert" on whatever talk radio show you're listening to.

"X" in math is an unknown and in plumbing "spurt" is a drip under pressure.
I am not an expert, why would I want to be an "unknown drip under pressure"!

One of the many on Youtube proclaiming themselves as a "dating expert", in order to make money fleecing the desperate and lonely, mainly targeting men.
A dating coach strings viewers along with ineffective advice, deliberately. First itโs buy this program//book. Use this "magic word", send her this text, stand on this angle (yes, seriously!), wear this and "buy my course to get the dream girl you deserve" . A week or two later, it's use THIS magic word, send her THESE texts, and wear something ELSE. Buy this book. Now another few videos and a course that will "get you your dream girl". Then it's the same procedure, for months on end, with each video differing from the last in some form.
Think about this, they do countless videos on so called โadviceโ. Now, if this โfreeโ advice was valid, why are they constantly a)bringing out overpriced books/courses etc, for which they sometimes shame and guilt trip people into buying? and b)making video after video for months on end with โadviceโ that conflicts with previous videos?
Also, the fact that a lot of dating experts have โshillsโ, as well as fake comments like โOh Iโm glad I found your video by accident today, best advice everโ or โBuy their course guys, itโs really good and changed my lifeโ speaks volumes.
Dating expert: "Buy my $5k relationship mastery course, it will get you your dream girl".
Dating Expert 3 months later : "sign up for my $2k course on how to get your dream girl".
A way to cover up bullshit by making the broad statement, "Experts say", then the bullshit.
As nobody has any idea which experts they were referring to, or what level or expertise they had, it is a great way to cover up not having a distinct source for the information.
Experts say 90% of people in Mexico are drug dealers
Someone who claims to know all the answers to a problem, situation or scenario but has little or no experience or real understanding of it. Usually found on internet forums or writing in the letters section of tabloid newspapers. When faced with educated people who disassemble their argument with facts, they often state they learned their experience at the "University of life".
"If you exceed the speed limit by just 1 mph, you should be banned from driving"
"But you've never driven in your life, you're just an armchair expert"
