1. Acronym for Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de St-Etienne, or "Assault Rifle--St. Etienne Arms Factory".
The FAMAS is an assault rifle in use by French military and government units, notably the French Foreign Legion. It uses NATO standard 5.56mm bullets and comes in a variety of models and modifications. It is made in 'bullpup' configuration (imagine loading a magazine behind the handle and trigger .) Usually colored solid black and has a very futuristic/military look.
2. An assault weapon used in some video games, most notably CounterStrike and Metal Gear Solid. Also appears in some movies.

A gun from Counter-Strike. Purchasable only by a member of the Counter-Terrorist team. Some features include but are not limited to three shot burst fire, 25 clip capacity, and a firing rate of 1100 bullets per minute.

the standard issue FRENCH assult rifle. usually not very reliable or accurate(as its french). It fires 5.56mm standard issue "French white flag" rounds.

It is a gun in which the firing rate can be manipulated to own Tele. Tele will then cry and cry and the bullpup originated rifle becomes the hacker's device.
The gun can also be found in the word own and the ownage is the ownage of the famas.
