A type of chill and laid back dude. He always goes with the flow and is down for whatever. What he is most down for, though, is any and all parties. Whether it is a football party, prom party, or pool party, he will attend and even make the party more lively. Also, they would rather game than do any physical activities. While a bit lazy, Grunkies are a great choice to be accepted into The Homies.
Grunkie: I don’t wanna work out, I’mma just sit here and play Among Us.
Bob: Dude you’re such a Grunkie!
I've always used this word as "gross" + "chunky." I invented this word years ago to describe some nondescript cafeteria food. Looks like others invented a word with a similar definition.
"Honey, I appreciate you making your family's traditional prune and peanut habanero chili con carne yesterday, but the results were rather grunky."

Grunky- Adjective, someone whose personality is like the 1990s grunge movement but is also likeable and pleasant
Person A: "Damn Hank from the hit videogame Detroit Become Human sure is grunky"
Person B: "I love how he's a complete mess but also has a lovable dog and android boyfriend, what a grunky man"
Funky and gross like slime on a wall, the feel of rotting trash in between your toes, or that unidentifiable smell in your house.
Friend: “Why does it smell like burnt fish and something dead?”
Me: “I don’t even know but it’s kinda grunky.”
A word for when you’re not quite grumpy, but you’re getting there.
“Gosh babe, i need some time alone right now”
“Are you grumpy or grunky?”
