Something one says, when it's all tied up, crunch time, or the final moments of a competition.
-It is said to rev one or one’s team up
-It is also said ironically to acknowledge that the individual, whom said it, is about to be cluster!@#$ed.

To gun it up is to proper hard task or to complete a job with efficiency of gunning extra power. Or to bodge like a dog with the sillicon gun. Also death by gun it up due to hermetically sealing humans into a non british standard room.
Don't worry Billy Cob face, Bunce'll be here in a minute, and you know he loves to Gun it up

A Top gun Thumbs up is similar to a regular thumbs up, only its held for much longer and you turn your hand to the side so the person youre giving the thumbs up to, can see the back of your hand.
its called a "Top Gun Thumbs Up" because during the entire film, that is all Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer ever did, never giving proper thumbs up to each other and at times, it seems as though their right hands are permenantly STUCK in that position.
not really possible to do an example of a Top Gun Thumbs Up... just watch Top Gun!
