The leading couple in bleach. A combination of the character names: Ichigo kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki. With both of them having a stubborn; need to be right attitude it makes the perfect chemistry between the two. Both of their feelings grew immensely as the story line went on creating a certain attraction to each other that will ultimately pull them together in the end. Ichiruki fans despise ichihime (ichigo and orihime) and are never willing to back down. they always stand up for what they believe is right and never give up!
That ichiruki scene was breath taking... i think i'll rewind it and watch it again.

The pairing of Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki from The manga/anime Bleach by Tite Kubo. Ichigo is human that can see ghosts. Rukia is a shinigami, or death god, and give Ichigo her powers when she cannot continue fighting so that he may save his family. One of the more popular pairings from the series. It's main rival pairing in the series is Ichihime.
Alternative use: stubborn or close-minded.
Although many supporters are reasonable and intelligent individuals, as with most religions, there is an extremist group in the mix. Some Ichiruki shippers, feeling threatened by the possibility of Ichihime, began to resent Orihime Inoue's presence in the series. They started Orihime Hate groups, and would assault Ichihime supporters through unprovoked and irrelevant internet comments about how stupid and worthless Orihime is (often slaughtering the English language and grammar rules). Where Ichihime fans would try to reason and peacefully settle the differences between the two groups, Ichiruki fans would respond by insulting their intelligence and denying any possibility of a different opinion on the subject.
Supporters of this can be violent and abusive with their beliefs, and use logic such as "Rukia punched Ichigo. She's hiding her feelings with violence. She must love him." Oddly enough, most of these people do not punch, kick, or physically abuse their partners. They must not love them.
There are many examples of "Ichiruki moments" throughout Bleach.
See that incredibly high number next to the "thumbs down" button? That's because crazy Ichiruki fans will look up both Ichihime and Ichiruki so that they can vote down on anything that opposes their beliefs, while voting up what ever definitions they find acceptable.

A pairing made of Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach by 13-15 year olds who can't understand platonic friendships. They base their reasoning off of filler, which is a step above using fanfiction, and tend to be whiny and immature. Neither character has expressed any romantic interest but tell a fan that and they will cry and stomp their feet like a 4 year old who was just denied candy. Mention how movies don't count and they'll accuse you off being a loser with no life. (Ironically, they spend so much time obsessing over this pairing they have no relationship of their own usually.) They will also try to explain their unhealthy attention by using obscure to non-existent things, like Ichigo's eyebrow arching "a certain way". They also ignore the fact that Bleach is a shonen and not a crappy teen romance where the characters meet and then make out in the rain after 2 hours of knowing each other.
Ichiruki fans despise IchiHime for the fact that it has a possibility of happening and deep down they know no straight 15 year old boy will choose a girl who can fit his 11 year old sister's clothes over a pretty girl with big boobs
Ichiruki fan: ZOMFG!!! ICHIRUKI IZ TRU LUB!!
Logical Bleach fan:You do know that Kubo just said that Ichigo and Rukia are not in love right?
Ichiruki fan: STFU HATER!!! U JUS WAN PHAIL ICHIHIME!!
Logical Bleach fan: Not exactly, but with Orihime's feelings being established, it's got more evidence than Ichiruki has.

The ultimate romantic pairing of the manga/anime Bleach created by the awesome mangaka Kubo Taito.
The pairing consists of Ichigo (a 15 years old boy who can see ghosts) and Rukia (a full time Shinigamifrom Soul Society).
At first they appear to have this cliché love-hate relationship going on, but as the series goes on they develop more deep feelings for each other.
Rukia totally cares about Ichigo and his well-being, and Ichigo does the same for her, to the extent that he risks his life and goes to the other world just to save her, even if she asked him to do the opposite (she didn't want him to get hurt or die).
But not only him is willing to risk his life for her, because Rukia too has put HIS life before her own.
They are one of the best couples ever because they compliment each other and understand the other perfectly.
And last but not less important, they make a completely hot couple.
IchiRuki fangirl: Did you see! Ichigo totally rescued Rukia.
IchiOri fangirl: But... but Orihime has boobs! *runs away crying*.
IchiRuki fangirl: My OTPpwns! SUCKER.

IchiRuki fangirl: HA! So after all Rukia DID come back to Ichigo. Ichigo was SO surprised and excited to see her.
IchiOri fangirl: But... but Orihime has red hair!... and boobs! *runs away crying*.
