Ijboler 1: "Oh so you think you're ijbollywood now? ignoring me just like that?"
The word originated around 2021 when a popular tweet from female rapper, Nicki Minaj had tweeted "I just busted out laughing" Her fanbase, the barbz, then started using the same phrase as the rapper, which when then turned into an acronym, 'ijbol' which had spread throughout stan twitter and recently has been used more. Another example of the 'barbz' was 'the 'chile anyways so'' meme which was popular in 2020.

users on stan twitter: "omg she looks a mess ijbol"
The acronym can be traced back to around 2009, however recently stan twitter has made the phrase popular. It started with a popular tweet from Nicki Minaj in 2021 which read "I just busted out laughing chile i". Her fanbase, the barbz, then began to spread 'ijbol' around twitter.
This isn't the first time that the barbz have picked up phrases from Nicki which spread around as in 2020 in a live Nicki had said "chile anyways so" which became a viral meme over the internet.
