Is fun while it lasts. You will start your year possibly as a healthy 16-18 year old and by the end of the year you will have a nicotine addiction, respiratory problems, a lot of things you can’t bring back across the border, and alcoholism three months sooner than expected because of the fucking coronavirus
You ever been to Neuchâtel Junior College?
Yeah, I was there in 2019-20 year. Pretty much graduated on Skype after paying for school in Switzerland and taking online classes at home for half the year.
A now defunct Junior College in Pasir Ris, Singapore that merged with Tampines Junior College to form Tampines Meridian Junior College. Has one of the best looking uniforms in Singapore but has now changed to an ugly-ass white brown uniform. People occasionally confuse the uniforms with Catholic JC. Known for their Football, it’s rumored that many of the football players sign 3-year stints with the College to play for the A Divisions. Usually filled with Victoria JC or ACJC rejects. And also had a school song that sounds like a National Day Song. BORN OF A VISION TO BE THE BEST!
A: eh you from Meridian Junior College ah?
B: ya, why eh?
A: oops. i thought you were from Catholic JC instead
An elite school in Singapore, ranking 5th place in 2021, tying with Dunman High School. Located along Dunearn Road, this school offers a wide variety of activities, especially Science. The year heads take disciplinary acts very seriously as it is the #1 priority. Most students here work closely with students from NUS, the best university in Singapore. NJC also a 6-year integrated programme. It goes a lot faster than normal schools. For example, secondary 1 students finish 1A, 1B, half of 2A by the end of the year and learn Sec 3-Sec 4 Science. Language Arts is a compulsory subject. LA is a combination of Literature and English.
“Wow! Why are you so smart? I am in Secondary 3 and you helped me with Science. Which school are you from?”
“National Junior College. I am actually an average student there hahaha”

It is a school that is supposed to be a girls school but pitifully they allowed a few boys to join. It is filled with NUS rejects.

Pretty ok jc, but kinda budget, cannot even afford adidas for my cca shirt 🙄, basketball still got puma sia. The people here are hardworking and enthusiastic in nearly everything they do, which is very shocking and lowkey pleasant, but also make me feel like shit for wanting to be selfish and lazy sometimes. There is a good mixture between ip and jae kids here unlike other integrated jcs which is a win else sch life will suck a ton. Canteen food is generally bombz but thanks to covid kena hyperinflation now I also gotta pay extra 10 cents for my go-to coffee which gives me more problems with change.
School environment is also very hype during events or assemblies which is very slay tho I feel like passing out from doing ‘the nights’ dance in the mornings.
Friend: wow ur in Victoria Junior College, that’s amazing
Me: right
Friend: do you guys get sponsored by Victoria’s Secret?
Me: wah if only sia
